My Valkyrie

northern Ill near fox lake

well for those that thought the days of Valkyrie were over, I saw an ad for a new 2019 Valkyrie, just a few cosmetic changes that I could see. It's listed with a 1833 motor, and up swept exhaust, kind of like what was on the Rune. I'm sure there is other minor changes also and will look into it further. but ya the Valkyrie LIVES,,,,,,,, Not that I will trade mine in, with only 38,000+ miles it is now just getting broke in.

I'll believe it when I see it. Hard to believe they would release another when you can still buy a new '14
Personally, Im OK if they don't. I like to be different  Cool

I saw this on Youtube a little while ago, but I think that it isn't real.  Not for 2019 anyways.

I think it looks nice, kinda Rune like.  All I know is my 14 is an amazing riding bike. I doubt I will out last it.

Cool to see Honda do whatever it wants regardless of whether or not they make money.  smitten
Wonder what they might price it at. IMO, the price is a big reason the bike didn't sell well initially.

Put me down as not thinking it is real, even if the microsoft news channel thinks it is  Wink

To tell the truth, I'm not a big fan of the Rune (maybe in Russia or Saoudi Arabia ?  2funny) but in 2020 my Valk will probably have 80,000 mls on the clock, time for a new bike !

The BMW K1600 Bagger is very nice but I'm fed up with the brand $$$, the dealers $$$$$ and after 4,5 years and 66,000 mls with the Valk, I love the reliability of my Honda (though all the BMWs I've had were reliable too) and the cheap maintenance costs.
The handling at very low speed of the new GW is not that good/straight and some parisian GW taxi-cabs have problems with the steering. I like the brakes of the new GW, far better than ours, I don't like the speed limit of the GW (110 mls/h)  Evil
Wait & see ! angel

I actually like it, but just like the 2014-2015 Valkyrie, it looks like someone ran into the back of it and pushed the rear wheel forward a couple of inches.

Well , I may be done with 2 wheels  , my Valk is on CL   ,  maybe someday a Spyder  will be my next  thing , it must be a little safer

If I did buy another  bike , it's gonna be 250#s less

I have a custom seat for sale , Bill Mayer  https://www.billmayer-saddles.com/
I have over $900 in it

NEVER liked the rune ......Huge exhaust ,too much chrome ..... looks like someone just got in a parts bin & mixed parts front & rear fenders don't even match. Besides all that the last line of the article says it all :
However, it is highly improbable that the new Valkyrie will make its way to our shores anytime in the future.
