A local shop has a reputation for dyno tuning. My standard runs fine but gas mileage is 30ish. I don’t care about fuel but wondering if I would benefit (power) by a dyno tune. I don’t care about the money. What information would I get and how would motor be adjusted?

Before you consign your Valkyre to a mechanic on a dyno tune project it would be wise to insure they are capable of actually doing good to your bike.
Six carburetors on a motorcycle engine are not something these fellows are normally exposed to, and when they are, I think most are "winging" it.
In my opinion, I believe they are in general, not capable of dyno tuning our Valkyrie engines.
For one, they have no way to test the exhaust of each individual cylinder which would be a prerequisite to a proper tune.
Secondly, I cannot envision them adjusting each carburetor, each slide needle, each main jet.
I would assume that a synchronization would also be required for a proper dyno tune, but cannot say that it actually is.
The time required for a proper dyno tune to me would be prohibitively time consuming, and extremely expensive.
So, in conclusion, if you can find a tuner that will dyno tune your engine, it would be incumbent upon you to thoroughly examine what he intends to perform.

R-D is correct. plus most dyno operators know how to play with the dyno to make it look like u made more HP after what they did amounts to nothing more than spark plugs, air filter and oil change. one trick is running much higher air pressure in the rear tire to pick up a few HP
a stock bike will not make any additional HP.
modifying the airbox, 3 into 1 exhaust, R1 or Web Camshafts, head work or a supercharger is the only way to make more power with a dyno tune aka correct jetting with exhaust gas analyzer.
Or
make an appointment with Attic Rat one of our vendors, who can make it run much better and gain a few HP.

Last time I attempted to do a Dyno tune, the guy looked at my bike and said he doesn't work on anything that has more than two carbs.

i had the exact same thing happen ... shop bragged online about being able to tune any bike then when the tech asked me what bike i had he said no way ... he told me there’s probably not a mechanic in FL who could properly do it because of how complex the job is ... i do respect him for telling me that instead of taking my money and screwing up my bike
