Have a safe trip and a Happy Thanksgiving, John.  Don't ruin your turkey appetite with that 72-ouncer!

Back in the day .... 1980, I spent sometime in Amarillo and I worked at The Big Texan. I don't know if you remember a TV series called Real People (kind of like Americas Funniest Videos). Anyway... they filmed a segment at The Big Texan.... look close at the waitress, it just might be QOTFU (when I was JUST a princess!)

Great post, your majesty!

I believe it was Real People that set up a fake Canadian Border Crossing out in the middle of nowhere W Texas.  The stunned looks on the faces of the people who stopped to clear "customs" were priceless.

LOL.... it was quite the show. I didn't even have a VCR or Beta-max to record my 15 seconds of fame!

I'm betting I knew you back then, when Bob Sr. was running the place. My mother ran Belmar Bakery for over 30 years and we sure took a lot of stuff out there. cooldude

It is a small world. I stopped by there about 20 years ago and was told that Bob died while scuba diving in Hawaii (?). I think he had a heart attack underwater.
