Author Topic: Number 6 sure had a lot more fuel in it then the rest  (Read 939 times)

1) Bike runs great, smooth, nickel test, pass no problem. 2) Plugs all look the same and normal 3) Tank is off the bike and fuel is shut off.  No petcock leaks.  4) Ran bike until stutter as fuel is running out in the lines and carbs. 5) De Smogged bike with electronic cruise control that is coming off, don’t want it.  Ok here is the question, Draining the bowls, not much fuel in 1-5 but 6 had a lot in it. Yes 6 was the only one with the vacuum line shorty that is caped shut and all the rest had open vacuum.  Thoughts

If no evidence of fuel in #6 cylinder than you are probably worrying about nothing.

No 6 jets slightly blocked using less fuel?

No 6 float may be a little distorted giving a higher float level (more fuel in the bowl)

The fuel rail drained better to no 6 giving it the last of the fuel.... my guesses
