My Fog light switch is dirty and the button sticks a bit causing issues Turing on and off the light.  I managed to pull it off the bike but I have no idea the best way to clean it.  Any advice would be grateful.

Awesome thanks.  I assume I just spray it on to the switch and hit the button a couple times to get the fluid around?

If this doesn't work I -may- have an unused OEM switch somewhere in Ye Olde Parts Pile. What I did with both my I/S and Tourer fog light setups was to obtain Show Chrome 52-70x series master cylinder switch blocks, replace one of the switches with an SPDT equivalent then install the block and use the modified switches to control the lights via relay. Thus, I don't need the Hondaline switches.

Cool, I will keep you guys updated.  I was figuring if I really needed to I could always wire a new switch.  But I am fairly sure the cleaning stuff should work.  Just have to grab some after work.  Also gives me a chance to spray down the radio controls and other light switches and give them a good clean.

I was able to take mine apart and clean and relube the switch.  This is the square push button switch on the left pod.
Good Luck

I tried pulling it apart but couldn't get the tabs to move.  Felt like I might break it.  How did you do it?

I don't remember the details (CRS), but I remember it being glued into the Pod, that might have been a Honda thing, not sure. I do remember one of the tabs broke off but it wasn't a big deal. Removed the innerds and cleaned the contacts and relubed with dielectric grease.
Be gentle, its an old and brittle switch Smiley

Cool, I will keep that in mind.  If the worse comes and I have to break one of the tabs....nothing a bunch of electrical tape can't seal back together.

Good news is the CRC cleaned the switch super well.  Works like a charm.  The lights are still slow to respond so I assume the Power Relay is dirty then.  Can that be cleaned with the CRC or does it need to be replaced?

You can try cleaning it but my guess is it is sealed and you won't be able to get the cleaner where it needs to be. Maybe it has created it's own time delay    Cheesy

LOL, maybe it has.  Doesn't bug me that much now that I know the damn switch itself works and clicks properly.

Auto Zone and similar automotive parts retailers sell a Pilot brand relay that's an exact replacement for the Honda unit. Look in the Shop Talk area which covers common (non-Honda) replacement parts. I have one in my garage and will get the part number for you if you cannot find it here.

Nice, I will try to take a look through here when I get the chance.  If you are able could you get the part number and/link to the Shop Talk article?  I'm at work right now so I might not get the free time to look.  That way I can try and pickup one on the way home.  Thanks.
