Good idea, only problem here is the pay as you go data account. Nothing cheap that I know off.

You turn Data Off...you don't need it need it to locate the phone's GPS...but the phone must be on.

For Canadians....Public Mobile, $10 a month less $2 a month for autopay on your credit card.
$8 a month...cheap theft protection compared to the Lo-Jack type companies.

They use the Bell/Telus network coverage(owned by Telus) and you have an extra fully charged phone handy if yours is dead or misplaced..."Ram" mount it to your bars for navigating on pre-loaded google maps...tax deductible if you run a business....what could be better than that??
