Hi people. How do you upload images from your computer or phone (Android)? I'm struggling to work it out. I didn't find the help section to be too helpful.

I use a photo hosting site IMGBB.com it is free just upload your pictures to there then copy img code and post it here. No need to resize.  Very simple.

Like the big-headed feller says, it is best not to try to use VRCC resources
to host your pictures...

I put mine on google sites, there's a lot of places that host pictures on the
Internet...

As an example, I have a picture hosted at this url:

https://sites.google.com/site/hubcapsite1/fcr2016/randy.jpg

If I want to put this picture in a post, I type this into the post:

Then you see the picture in my post:

https://postimages.org/
Create an account using SIGN UP box top right
Create a new gallery by clicking on the box towards the top left

Upload photos. Do max of 4 at a time or it can take too long.

Once uploaded put your cursor on the image you want to put on the VRCC forum

Now move your cursor to the symbol to left of the trash bin symbol
Click on it
Now copy the "Hotlink" for forums.

Now go to the VRCC post you want the photo to appear in and right click and paste.

Once you then post your comment the photo should appear for all to see.

Some of the confusion comes from the term upload.  Some sites, such as Facebook, do actually upload your picture and store it on their site.  The VRCC message boards don't actually upload the picture but do allow you to point to the picture to be included in your post.  In order to point to the picture it does need to be stored in an accessible repository on the internet.  A couple of the explanations above show how to do that.

Anthony glad that site worked for you. The picture you posted, if I click
On it it will let me veiw your entire library. When you want to post a picture click on the picture then when it ools up by itself look under it and click on the tab that says about.  Then all of your embedded codes will show click on the one that say full image and that will copy it then just paste here. If you click on the one that says linked it will let anyone look at your library. Just FYI here.
