Bikers don't need shrinks!

Dang, last weekend was nice. We took a ride up to Turner Falls and then over to Tishomingo to eat at Blake Shelton's bar/restaurant.  Good cobbler with ice cream. And, when I think of riding and eating, I think of VRCC.  Any plans to get together Thursday night for a bite?

I admit that I haven't checked the weather forecast, but can always eat BBQ or TexMex and then ride all those calories off on the way home.

Weather Channel says 20% chance of rain Thursday, with a high temp of only 68!  Not too many of those left before October or November...

I'm up for it.  BBQ, Tex-Mex, Burger?  Just say where.

Maybe Blue Goose Plano if you think we can get in?

Anyone else need some Tex Mex and Valkyries?

Yep.  Last weekend was definitely a good ridin' day.  Cool

Randall and I rode to Cedar Creek Brewery for lunch Saturday and he had a dip into their Vats (lightly).

From there, we headed North thru Canton.  BIG MISTAKE ---  forgot it was First Monday!   Sad

Tons of traffic.  Oh well.  Part of the adventure right?

After that we decided it was time to take it to the barn before the wives locked us out  Roll Eyes

All in all, it was a wonderful 200 mile round trip  cooldude

Blue Goose works for me.  We shouldn't have any problems getting in.  If we do, there are other options within walking distance.

Bike is still dirty from the rain Saturday morning but that's not stopping me.  I think I can make it.

Sounds good for a "meeting" but will not be able to make it.  Have taken on a job from 4-8pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.  Besides, if I am not there, it makes it easier for you to talk about me.....

Actually, if Blue Goose doesn't work out,

you are correct Mr. Garb.  The best burgers around are just a few yard away at

Hmmmm, not in New Mexico this month?  Tongue (Anything west of I35E is practically New Mexico) I'll hafta see if I can swing it. Wife's out of town traveling, so if I make it it'll be last minute, dunno if I'll be on a Valk with a kid or in a cage with a whole mess of 'em, but I'm gonna try......  If I can...

You, too, are correct, Mr. Hoyt.  Now that the Feed Bag is no longer an option, Snuffer's is my burger benchmark.   Wink

It's also my marinated chicken sandwich benchmark.   coolsmiley

OK, it's also my bacon / green onion / jalapeno / ranch / cheese fries benchmark...   Cheesy

Snuffers has more salad choices, so if we went there, I would not object in any form!

I can find something to eat where ever we go.  I even ate at Hard 8.  UPDATE:  They do have salad on their menu.  It's in small type but it's there. So, no problem.
