You have heard of the Valkyrie Nickel Test? Well this was the Valkyrie 3 layer coconut cake test. A 3 layer coconut Cake given to me on my 60th birthday by a friend at work the other day. I was on my Valkyrie and I was not about to leave the cake at work so I strapped it to the back seat rode home. A 2 lane rough road then a four lane up to 75 MPH then through town and home in the country, 23 miles. Not a crack or shift of the cake looked just like it did when I strapped it on at work. Wife thought it couldn't be done, but she was standing there when I rode into the garage. Oh yea the cake was great!
Check out the cake Pics on my website.

My wife, the resident cake baker, confirmed that it was indeed a coconut cake.
She was impressed with your ability to make it home intact.
I guess she's only ridden with me, so it might not take too much to impress her

For some odd reason I was imagining a bungi cord strapped over the cake with out the cover. Now that would have been impressive! Messy, but impressive.

Cool... I had a gloves and sunglasses trick I used to do with my Harley.
Crank it up with the gloves and sunglasses on the seat and try to get the
helmet on before the gloves and sunglasses shook off onto the ground...
