Redneck ingenuity, gotta love it. Wanna get rid of leaves and burnable trash quick?

The proper name of it would be a forge.  That's actually kind of how I built my forge, but I cut the bottom out of a 30 gallon drum, lined it with fire brick, put it on a stand, and then used a dryer blower as the air source.

I may have to build one of those for when the Zombie Apocalypse shuts down the gas and power in my neighborhood. Might need it to keep my stored water and rations from freezing.   2funny
BTW...my leaf blower is an off grid 2-stroke.

Had a similar apparatus for when I attempted to melt aluminum and cast an ant hill years ago.

I had a cousin who worked on the railroad and supplied me with a few 5 gallon buckets of coal, dug a hole about 20 feet from the ant hill and dug a 2 foot channel off from it. Stuck a 4in ID steel pipe in the channel, covered it up with dirt and stuck a leaf blower in the other end. Turned into a temporary ground forge.

The outcome makes a nice paperweight at my desk  Grin

That thing (built a little larger) would be great for getting rid of the bodies too.

Though the smell would be probably be real bad and travel a long ways.

Hey Jess what the hell are you cooking in that thing?  The neighbor with the barking dogs.

City/urban folk are not allowed burn barrels.

To make it PC, there should have at least been the appearance of a hose of fire extinguisher in the video.  That might not be such a good thing next to some national forest.

I jump-started the mesquite charcoal in my Kamado grill once with a leaf blower - supercharging the flame from the lower vent. Similar results exiting the top vent in the lid.  Roll Eyes
