Probably a lame question but would Inzane be a good place to sell a valk? I'll be parting w/a low mileage 03 Std. Obviously lots of valk enthusiasts attending but mostly riding bikes I assume. Struggling to get the bike back together in time after a hydrolock repair so not sure I could make it but thinking about it.

I posted this on the Inzane board too but it didn't look like anybody had been there for awhile.

You never can tell, and might get some interest.

But really, most of us Valk guys have what we want already, and you'd probably do just as well to put up a good add with all the info and good pictures (and save the round trip, or trailer haul).

Also, most ride in, and it's not like someone's going to trailer a Valk home behind their Valk.

The short answer is probably not but there may be someone looking and if it's something special it may draw an option.

Another short answer is that you can't sell (or generate much interest in) it there if you don't bring it there.

InZane in WV had a very low mile Valkyrie ( red / white Standard )  parked in the lobby of the host hotel . Not sure but I think a local dealer had the bike . Best to my knowledge it had some " lookers " don't know if it sold or not. I had a picture of it but can't find it I think it might be on a flash drive locked up in my gun safe    Undecided

I didn't even know that bike was for sale while we were there, so my
advice to the OP: put a for sale sign on it at least  Smiley ...

The owner of that bike listed it for sale after inzane, but he wanted Big$$$ for it.  It was a very nice. low mile bike, but it was used, and he was over optimistic in what he thought it was worth.  I don't know if it ever sold or fo how much.

In response to the original question, I would list it for sale in our classifieds and on FB and cycletrader.  Larger market.  But i would still go to Inzane if I had the time off.  It's not often you get that many characters together in one place.

Thanks for the comments, looks like I won't be able to make Inzane, too much other stuff going on. Too bad it would have been worth the trip alone as its a great area and there's a chance my bike might have sold. I was looking forward to lunch at Rancho de Chimayo!

I'll get the bike ready to go and post ads as suggested.

I saw that bike and I too had no clue he was trying to sell it. I felt sad that someone let it sit all those years instead of enjoying it. My red and white was as clean as that one and it has been enjoyed. Motorcycles weren’t meant for preserving them un-ridden for years and years.
