Good idea Josh, I won't be able to make this years event but here's a handful of suggestions as well (similar in kind) to consider that I'd been meaning to post. Use it as you see fit, hopefully F6Banger or SCain will chime in as they are the regional seasoned veterans.
The Enchanted Circle (2.5 – 3hrs 84 miles) this makes for a great ride hitting Red River, Eagles Nest, Angel Fire and back to Taos. You can’t go wrong taking this route in either direction.

Annually people will make the pilgrimage on foot from miles around every Good Friday with this as their destination. In the vicinity is the Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant which makes for a nice stop for a cold drink or meal.

The cruise through CO 17 Cumbres Toltec is nice coming or going. Chama is kind of a neat town with a train depot there in town being one of their prime attractions. It’s great when you catch the trains puffing smoke coming through parts of CO-17 or even there in town in Chama.

https://www.vietnamveteransmemorial.org/Homemade Pie & Baked Treats – looks like they are giving Michaels a 4-4.5 rating. I haven’t been since I took a small group from the 2015(?) AZ Memorial Weekend Ride. I'd found the place fair for food but good to fulfill your baked goods desires in case you miss the bid on Motomama’s, you might give this place a try.
