I just picked up another Valk and the owner told me he had a mechanic install a stage 1 jet kit a couple of years ago. He doesn’t know which kit and did not get the old parts back. It is definitely running rich. I want to identify the brand of kit. I removed the #5 needle and it was clipped in the 4th position from the top. I used to have a Dynojet kit in one of my previous Valks and this is set too rich for here. I’ve read that the Factory Pro needles are thinner and richer than the Dynojets. Does anyone have needle measurements? I don’t want to pull a bowl to check the main and slow jets which would indicate Factory Pro.

They have different profiles...the taper is more abrupt on one brand.  There should be a picture of the needles...I’ll see if I can find them and update if successful.

Update:  I sent you an email with a picture of the Factory Pro needles.  Let me know if you need more.

Factory Pros are leaner than the dynojet/cobra jet kit needles.  OEM is leaner than all.
