If you knew him please send me a PM.

I know it's a long shot, B.C. is a very large territory. However he's a rider and seemingly in 'our' age group.  New Westminster appears to be a suburb of Vancouver sandwiched by Surrey.

Don't know the rider in the article......tragic none the less. One just never knows what the day will hold.

A very good friend of mine was killed while riding the Sea to Sky six days ago. He just got back from sailing to Hawaii and back, had a few days left in his holidays, rented a bike and took a cruise up to Whistler. Looks from the photo like he went into the corner too fast, lost control and hit the rock wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Left a wife and two young daughters behind. Just turn 50 two months ago......way to young! I miss him a lot!  Sad

Walrus, I wrote my buddies with the GW group yesterday, linked your post and asked the question if anyone knew him. No reply back, so I expect not.

I looked over the article. Seems that's the town I road through 2 years ago, when we went to InZane Billings.

It's a very popular border crossing, so I bet you have been through that way a time or two.

I work for the agency that insures the trucking company.  The Washington State Patrol has all the claim info and I asked them to pass it on to Mr. Gilbride's family so they can start their claim.  I was hoping to get the info in his family's hands sooner than later.

Unfortunately I'm packing for a trip I'm leaving early am tomorrow, so can help.

Just in case another reads and might be inclined to offer some help, what is it you are wanting done, sounds like delivering papers?
