Curious if anyone has powdercoated a set of Valkyrie triple clamps. If you did, was there any issue with cracking the coating as the pinch bolts were tightened?

Failing that, a coat of urethane paint?

I fabbed a set of fork covers for my I/S and they're being powdercoated black. I also have this spare set of triple clamps in Ye Olde Junque Box ...

I’ve powder coated triple trees and had no issues at all just make sure where the bolts tighten up against the trees are taped off so when you tighten the bolts won’t peel the powder coating off
