Has anyone ever tried these? Trying to get rid of my awful drone and quiet things down a bit.

If it’s stock. All you need is piggie extensions

Eliminates drone and makes it quite for the rider

If you've got room behind the glasspacks, you could try something like these: https://www.hardin-marine.com/p-12622-4-slip-in-silencer.aspx    I haven't found a decent video showing them in actual use, but they supposedly fit in 4" pipes (which I'm assuming you have if you did the glasspack conversion).

I put the slip in silencers in my truck stack, then added Grumpy's tips for a little more length (and the bling).  Still too loud for me, so I swapped with my son when he bought his 2000 Tourer.  I am now very happy with stock pipes, and he likes the louder modified truck stacks. Grin

From my web site.  These cut the volume down to less than half of what it is w/o.  Preserves the timbre and the power - no difference on the dyno with them in or out as each pulse goes thru all 3 chambers.  They are adapted from the original back baffle section of the OEM exhaust.  So they are used, some very lightly.  Usually I recess them about 4" so they are not very visible. They can be made even quieter by stuffing a wad of SS wool between the glasspack and the silencer.  Held in place with one screw in the stack - I put it on the tire side.  I charge $60 for the labor on the lathe to fit them to the stacks, n/c to replace the baffles if they were drilled; the cores cost money so I pass it on - $90.  $130 for silencers (+ cores) to fit 5" stacks as they get CNC cut bulkheads to fit to the bigger stacks.  If you supply the cores it's $60 (4" stacks) + shipping, no core charge.

The exhaust page link describing these is at http://www.horseapple.com/Valkyrie/Valk_Products/M2W_Exhaust__System/m2w_exhaust__system.html
