Left Taos heading NW through Chama, thinking I'd spend a night in Durango or Cortez. Approaching Durango, the valk acted like a rental horse heading for the barn. Turned South to Gallup, Zuni, Heber, Payson and got home at 10PM AZ time (11PM Taos time). 14.5 hrs in the saddle. Whew! I'm tired.

Sandy,  meeting you and visiting was one of the best highlights of inzane in Taos.   I'm glad you made it home safe.   Keep in touch my friend.

Sandy,

A real pleasure meeting you and getting a chance to chat! Glad your return trip was relatively uneventful... Yeah, most of us know how the scent of 'home' in our nostrils can impact plans, routes and timelines! Happy for ya it all worked out...

I had plans for Mt. Evans and Pikes Peak post Taos.

Forecast rain for Denver Sat and Sun made me head east and homewards.

Stayed dry for 1,450 miles.
