I just joined a couple of days ago. I don't have a Valkrie yet but I am in the process of getting one a 2000 Tourer. It has been a accident but not anything I can't fix. I had kind of thought about a Valkyrie for a while and I took a 100 mile ride on a friends and that sold me. I have been riding sense 1970 when I bought my first bike a 1970 CB750 in Japan when I was in the Navy. I still have that bike and would not sell it for anything in fact my wife says I would sell her before I would sell the bike. I told her I will just keep them both. I do have several old Goldwings 75 & 79 running 84 standard which is kind of the father of the Valkrie. I will let that be it for now, just wanted to say this looks like a good forum.    Dannie

Welcome to the forum. You got your cb750 before I did mine (1973), but I got my first Valk before you (2003).  To me they have the same appeal, wish I still had my 750.
Feel free to post a photo of both on the general, we all would love to see them.

Welcome...lots of help here if you have any questions while you get your new Valkyrie on the road.

Let’s see some pictures of your CB750 when you get a chance.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Mike hope you have a good safe trip through N A today. Old2 soon I was off of Vietnam in 68 on a very slow liberty ship from WW2, U.S.S. Jamestown AGTR3. I was on the U.S.S. Jason AR8 when I got the 750 and brought it back. I got out in Dec. 1970 and rode it back to Alabama. Thank you for your service and I also ride with PGR.

Welcome it was my dad's 1972 CB 750 that got me into the whole motorcycle thing. We also were in Japan and before we left I had purchased my first bike a 1974 Honda CB 500 Four still one of the smoothest I've ridden.
