Sheila and Dennis are in the house we  got home late Saturday evening because I lost a wheel bearing in Baton Rouge.  We had stopped and got fuel got back on the interstate right before the bridge over the Mississippi River and it started popping a state trooper pulled over and talk to us and then he stopped the traffic on the interstate for us to turn a round and escorted us down the shoulder back to the truck stop where we had just got gas at.  Shelia had told me to take her bike  and run home to get the truck and trailer to pick up my bike and trailer that was only a 75 mile run each way.    I did that  and now everything is in the shed and I will pull the  rear tire and fix everything.     We enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting new folks Sheila had a large time one of her best  InZanes ever thanks to everyone and the VRC staff for having these functions.

If you'd keep it under 95 mph you might not burn out wheel bearings

Glad you made it home safe.  I hate those breakdowns on the road!  At least you weren’t too far from home when it happened.  See you again soon my friend.

Dennis & Shelia,

Always good to run into y'all at these!!! Glad you made it home OK and all ended satisfactorily... We made our way home, too, and all went well for us. Man, those new shock bushings sure made a difference and eased my mind!!! Thanks for everything, my friend... Looking forward to visiting that new chicken place you told me about down in Mississippi... as are some others I've mentioned that to...
