HI Gang  Smiley.....Margaret angel and I are sponsoring a "bug run" on Saturday Cheesy. In order to participate you place a small sticker ( provided by us) on your freshly cleaned windshield . After a days riding ( it doesn't matter which group you ride with) there will be prizes for the riders who have a bug splatter closest to the sticker cooldude .

What??? We have to get our bikes dirty on purpose?

Does this mean I need to clean my bike BEFORE I start the ride?  angel

I thought I was going to have the time, but maybe I need to wait for Merritt to do that on site. Thanks,,,, you thought of a way to make me clean my bike. I've too much competition there to even try....  ???

LOL ... Hey Gordon  cooldude! Just need to clean the windshield so that everyone starts off on an equal footing .  Although , you should consider, it is a proven fact that bugs prefer to commit suicide on clean bikes  tickedoff and will go out of their way to avoid being splattered on a dirty bike .

BUG RUN  Cheesy !!! ..... I am looking for volunteers, to organize a meeting, to form a committee, to select a group of judges , whose responsibility it will be to determine which bikes got the closest bug splatter to the window sticker .  Volunteers must have reasonable eyesight and be able to read a tape measure  Embarrassed. Judging will begin after the volunteers have been properly oiled with attitude adjustment fluid  uglystupid2 and have a thorough grasp of the three pages of rules set forth by the Government of Canada pertaining to bug runs  Roll Eyes.

The top three bikes will receive very substantial prizes  cooldude

Steve

I went to the Gov Canada website to get a copy of the rules. I found three documents with rules for Bug Runs. None mentioned attitude adjustment fluid. The longest of the documents (472 pages) was from the Canada Fitness site; it referenced the Annual Yukon Airshow and the proper training of the participating mosquitoes. An second was about how to build a track/maze for training your participating cockroaches in the federal elections - 5 pages plus 2 photos. The third was difficult to understand; it appeared to be written in extremely small characters; when I put it under a microscope to read it, it appeared to be written in pictographs - I think it was some kind of "bug" language. The forth document must be the one you are referring to; it was 3 pages long. The instruction were extremely simple. To save everyone from looking for it, I am posting the instruction.

Page 1 -
Official Canadian Government Rules for Bug Runs.

Page 2 -
Clean windshield. Apply double sided tape to clean windshield. If you do not have a windshield, apply double sided tape to helmet visor. If your visor does not have a visor, Apply double sided tape to face and goggles/glasses. Remember to fill your bike with Chevron Super Supreme gasoline before starting your ride, even thought Harley recommends regular or mid grade fuel.

page 3 -
Buy a Valkyrie. Ride it fast. No double sided tape required. If you do not have a windshield, remember to keep your mouth closed, unless you are hungry.

Murray .... LOL .... The maze thingy for training cockroaches in the federal election has been tried and was unsuccessful . Rather than follow the wishes of the maze builders, they simply jump over the walls and go straight to feeding on the public funds.  tickedoff

However, if any one of the riders in the "bug run" manages to run over one of these cockroaches, and has the splatter to prove it, there will be a special prize awarded  Grin

hehe ...Just kidding of course ........
