Bob,

You are one tough teacher!!! That appears to come dangerously close to child abuse right there!!!  2funny  Still, some of life's most difficult lessons can only be learned the hard way... I wish him luck.

I can relate to this topic. I have always scoffed any stray one I could at the used tool houses. shallow, deep, 6, 12, swivel, impact. Don't matter, still can't gat my hands on one when needed. Then again I should raid my boys boxes, might find a couple.

I always have extra 10mm's around.

But this may be the best one out there.

..... socket saga continues.

I will take that first pic above over the 10mm socket any day.

seriously,  one of the funniest 'had to be there moments' was this Christmas I decided to buy my daughter now in college on her own pretty much 3 1/2 hours away a 30 dollar multi tool kit from harbor freight knowing one day it would come in handy being this one:  http://flyer.harborfreight.com/june-2019-ad-k84oly39y8wg/product/3280798

First thing she said opening it up was funny, funny saying very disgruntled since was VERY heavy:  'What the F... am I ever going to use this' and moved onto other presents.    She has since thanked me now 3x's living on her own having to use it coming in handy.  Not the best quality tools, but lifetime warranty thru Harbor Freight so if anything breaks, get a new part, well maybe??   Something is better than nothing when in a jam and need something fixed.   It had the basic tools most anyone would use around a house or vehicle even though I felt the hammer and vice grips were pretty chinsey, the rest was o.k. for basic use.

I'm partial to my Tanfoglia match grade CZ75 clone for 10mm. Haven't lost it yet and I don't loan it out.

Your CZ75 clone (10mm).  cooldude

My CZ75 clone (9mm).

An original IMI Israeli Jerico 941 CZ75 clone, not a newer Magnum Research Baby Eagle IWI clone of a clone.  The most accurate and reliable auto pistol I ever owned.

The venerable CZ75 is pistol worth cloning.

The CZ99 was CZ's version (clone) of the Sig P226.  The CZ99 was then cloned a number of times, and I think I have the best of the lot, the TZ99 made in South Africa (Tressitu).

The only actual CZ I have is the CZ455 Varmint (.22). (but not with a Unertl scope)

I'm the opposite; I tend to find more 10mm sockets than I lose, e.g. at the auto wrecker's.
I guess it's like the only time I golfed on a proper golf course; I considered my round a success because I found more balls than I lost.  Grin

Hey if you were a young security policeman and posted out in the middle of nowhere in a hot desert for a couple year tour, you'd like the opportunity to shoot some people too.   Grin

(I represented a bored young cop at Incerlik AB Turkey who was shooting at foxes way out past the flight line.  Since they count all the bullets before and after each shift, it was never clear to me how he expected to get away with it.)    Thereafter, he was known as Airman Slicksleeve.  crazy2

He should have just bought his own ammo.  That's what I used to do.

I spend more time looking for a 10mm socket or a 10mm wrench than I do actually using it.

For some reason, I've never had problems losing 10mm sockets.  What I am finding is that many smaller metric socket sets skip the 18mm size, which is quite commonly needed  for automotive front end fasteners.

I was always more of a Bren Ten fan. I just HAD to have one in the 80's because I thought Sonny Crocket was so darn cool. When I got mine no mags were available for nearly 6 months after the purchase and ammo was scarce as hens teeth. But it was cool.  cooldude
