Not using it,  but might look into it.   Seems reasonable for five years coverage.  Must be legit,  HondaDirectline is selling the service.

If you are a AAA member - you can get RV/ Motorcycle coverage as well using your same membership. Same limits as your other vehicles.

I haven't had to use it yet (*Knock on wood*) but most insurance companies offer roadside assistance for a very reasonable cost as well.... I just checked and through Progressive I'm paying $10 per bike per year for it...

The American Motorcycle Association includes roadside assistance for free with a membership.  To get the benefit they require that you buy a three year membership, of have it auto-renew.  The roadside assistance can be used by any family member on any vehicle you own.  It's a very good deal, and also supports an organization that fights for our rights as riders.

That’s what I do...it’s free with AMA membership auto renew.  I used to buy the HRCA insurance before they shut down the Honda Riders Club.  It was around $49 per year and appears to be similar or the same as the current Honda offer.

Never used it but heard good feedback from those that did.  I think the AMA insurance is a good deal and haven’t heard any negative feedback.

yep,  cheaper to ask to add it to your cycle insurance company 5-10 bucks per year is all more than likely.  I do not have it on cycles, but have it on one car daughter has 3+ hours away costs 5 bucks per 6 month premium for roadside assistance is all.

For my cycle if traveling pretty much anywhere, I just bought a lithium ion 400 peak amp 10,000 mah battery inside to jump start cycles and smaller cars for 50 bucks.  Not sure how long the internal battery will last (hoping 5-7 years), but if I actually CARRY IT ON the cycle/scooter and use it once, has more than paid for itself with one jump start, that is if it works.  I have one scooter battery that is near dead does not hold charge so I will be able to test it out to see if it works am sure this summer 1-2 times.   MOst of these jump starter chargers also power cell phones, etc. to charge them up on the go as well as some even jump start trucks/larger SUVS but those are 80-90 bucks each more peak amps like 1000 peak amps.

I have my bike bundled with other insurance at State Farm and I don't think they offer roadside for the bike. Looks like there are several choices....thanks for the input.

GWRRA Roadside Plus.

I pay $80-85 per year for the family. In my case, 4 people. Includes MC.

I've used it twice. Once for the car and once for the MC when I blew the rear tire when 70 miles away from home.

The Honda deal looks legit, and a decent deal as well. Sadly, I wonder how many of those "closest Honda dealers" won't work on a 1st gen Valk because it's "too old". Also, since I have a few bikes of different makes, I would have to look elsewhere anyway. Still pricing MC insurance, and most policies have roadside assistance at very inexpensive rates.
