Got Lucky and picked up a set on the cheap as they were listed by the Seller as Cobras.
Have been looking for a set for a while,  pretty happy  on the whole with my Cobras for years.

I had both the 2 Bros and Cobras side by side today.

The quality of the TIG welding on the 2brs , the doublewalling, the design of the  attachment of each pipes to the other two. Wow.

These pipes are well thought out and the fit and finish  is great.

It almost looks like 2bros  designed the pipes and Cobra decided to copy some of the design with an eye towards more cost effective specs.

They mounted up very easily and  they sound Perfect. The turnouts seperate the sound and its sounds phenomenal to me.

I guess I just got acclimated to the hp loss with the Cobras,  because with the 2bris she runs like she did years ago when I had the OEM pipes.

I wanted to share my experience and  good fortune to get  such incredible sounding pipes with no bluing and top shelf materials and chrome finish.

If anyone was like me thinking  ' cobra, 2 bros, both similar looking, probably more or less the same'

Not at all.

2bros are like hand TIG welded and made with great care and attention to detail that sound really great from a smaller shop.

Cobras are like a mass production item with an eye towards keeping the cost down.

Nothing wrong with the cobras, I ran em for years, but they will now join my OEM pipes in storage.

If you get a chance to get a set of 2bros  dont hesitate, they are pretty amazing.

if the 2Bros are dble walled then, I would surmise the inside diameter of the head pipes are smaller which will increase the low end power, compared to the cobras.

Traded mine for stock pipes.   Too loud for me.

I agree that the TwoBros are well made but they weren’t for me. I liked the sound of the Cobras better. I never owned a set of Cobras but I rode a friends bike with them and they were great. I just found the TB’s too loud for anything other than short errands but that’s just me. Hope you enjoy yours!

I’ve had Cobras and Two brothers.  They are single walled like the cobras.  They were better fit and finish.

Finally settled on glaspaks and have been happy with them.

I preferred the sound of the Cobras compared to the Two Brothers, but glad you like the sound and quality.

Good luck...

I have TBR 6X6 on two of my Standards.  Lori (my wife) has Cobra 6X6 on hers.

I'm not clever enough to tell for sure whether TBR are double walled but if they're not the are much thicker steel than Cobras.  Cobras blue under normal use.  If you blue the TBRs you'll have to do something extreme along the same lines as would blue the OEMs.

The TBRs will tend to develop a very light copper tint up front over time.  TBR does claim to slightly increase HP but I believe that is primarily the result of lowering weight from OEM.

Would you mind taking a couple pics of them, is there a 2BR logo on them anywhere?

I'd bought a set of pipes several years ago that the seller had listed as Cobras as well, but every set of Cobras I've seen have slash cuts.  The ones I picked up are turnouts and seem like great quality,

Turnouts are two bros.  Cobras are slash cut.  Easy difference.

I whole heartedly agree.   They look cool and appear to be well made but, way too loud for me.   I'd like to keep what hearing I have left.   But, to each their own.   I'm happy that you're happy with them.

Ill take some pics tomorrow.
There is a small 2BR  stamped on each pipe where it meets the exhaust port.

The 2BR only came with turnouts and the Cobra six into six as slashcut.

Cobra did make other pipes  for our bikes that were available in turndown or turnout but this was not an option for the six into six.

It feels like the performance I got with the very well designed OEM pipes, abought the same.

The only pipes I ever had that improved performance beyond OEM were a used set of Supertrapps off ebay.
Some of that gain was the result of losing about 30 pounds in exhaust weight.

They have a tuneable system that utilzes discs inserted into the exhaust outlet that I got down pretty good and she ran the best ever.  I tried to like the look of the Supertrapps with the megaphone exhaust,
But despite the performance gain it was like a styling punch in the eye to me.

I think that the Cobra tips you mentioned were for replacing the tail sections of our OEM pipes.  They are pretty rare now.  They had slash down, slash out and tapered if memory serves me right.

I really like the look of my slash down tips.  They end just at the back of the saddlebags.

Yes.
A four piece Corbin off Ebay last week for $100.

She cleaned up really nice!!

I took a chance for $100 to see how I like the Corbin.

It's a keeper. Its firm, but comfortable.  Didnt know how nice Corbins were.

Quality, fit and finish are top shelf, probably why it held up so well all these years.

It's really nice quality Leather ornamented with some kind of gem-type studs.

Looked on their website and they dont offer either the color or the type of stud anymore, but thats to be expected as the seat looks to be about as old as my Valk, so in that sense its a match!

Turns out not only is the grey ostrich leather in overall good condition but it looks  phenonemal on the bike.

I believe its called Ostrich Leather, not sure, but my Ultmate Seat ( another ebay find)  is going in storage.  Nothing wrong with it, top notch seat for the Valk, but the nod goes to Corbin.

After all these years of different pipes and seats bought on short money off ebay I have a definitive set up that is unparalled in all my experience.

Two Brothers six into six and a Corbin seat.

My  wish list of bling is pretty short at this point.

Looking for the Cobra Radiator Covers and the Kuryakyn Fork Covers at a price I can live with. Cool
