I have a repair to do on the bottom of an OEM hardbag.
I’m not at home - could somebody who owns both a set of tourer/interstate saddlebags and a caliper tell me the thickness of the ABS plastic?

Thanks in advace!

I don't know if you'll ever get an answer. You would need a reading from a broken bag.

I feel all the ABS on the Valk is the same, about 1/8" thick.

The thicker the better in my opinion especially on the bottom section. Why is the thickness a factor?

Make it smooth on the outside; if it's fat on the inside only you will know.

I use a damaged side cover for donor pieces. Also , on my soap box , only black abs glue. MEK solvent for cleaning or solvent  welding. If you want more info , contact me by pm.

I can check for you on Monday if you're still needing to know. I have a bag with a broken-out section also.

Okay, finally remembered to check them out.  It ranges anywhere from as little .135 all the way up to .225 inches.  The most average amount seemed to be right around .200 inches.  Obviously the way they pour the melted plastic into the mold does not allow for an extremely uniform thickness.  Hope this helps.

Thanks brother!
Appreciate it.
I ordered a sheet of ABS and a large can of black abs cement.
We will get it done!
