Got backed into @ work.  Sad Fenders toast but I got lucky and all the lights are fine. Got A used one of the bay for A buck fifty. cooldude As long as I'm switching things over I plan to go with a new harnes but there are two variations of the sub assembly. I have A 99 standard. What is the right one for my bike? For curiosity sake, what is the difference? Any help would be much appreciated!

There is only 2 to my knowledge.

Once set A & B sub harness for the std/tourers (brake light on the fender), and a different one for all the IS models (no fender brake light).

Where did you see that there is 2 different ones, for the same model? The fiche should show the leads, so you can figure it out.

I looked at the fiche for your 99 Std. Shows 32103-MZ0-000 SUB-HARNESS, RR. for the rear removable fender section, with a note that This part replaces 32103-MZ0-760. And the same for the front section wire harness, 32102-MZ0-000 SUB-HARNESS, RR.

If I was unsure of which harness to order, I would order the matching A/B set (probably a part upgrade) or the unlettered set.
In fact, I did just that early last year to replace broken wires and connectors. (oops!)

If you can determine what the front wire harness part number is, you can compare and order the corresponding rear harness.

I believe (not sure) that the harnesses will work between lettered and unlettered front / rear harnesses

The part got updated thus showing two listings but same part number. This typical fische update that shows the old part number crossed out with the new part number then relist again with new one again. BTW the paint on these are a solvent base not water. My pearl silver took 2 wks. to get the formula right because they tried to do it in water base with no luck. You think! Duh! Solvent base it ended up being. Dumb Asses.

Thanks guys. I was looking at the partzilla list. It showed part number, 32103-MZ0-000 and 32103-MZ0-760 they are no doubt the same.  cooldude
