That’s cool. Must have been the prototype. There are a few differences. John Boyd must have refined it a bit more in the three years after that.

I wonder if Honda sub-contracted the saddle to Hartco for the prototype.

Kinda looks like it could be a Hartco.

The driver seat 200 and later is different and sits you in position more like Mustang and sets 1" higher as I'm readjusting my windshield accordingly. Waiting on a new rear pillion as mine is 20 yrs. old and momma say's it getting a little too soft. About $200 for total replacement. The only factory seat setup that worked for me on any of the 13 bikes I've have owned/ridden over 50 yrs. The worst, any damn Shadow seat. Mustang should be offered as a option @ the showroom floor!
