It is making a false contact and making my brake light flash as I go over bumps.

The levers are the adjustable type.

Solutions?

Yeah, yeah. Don't ride over bumps.   Cheesy

Paul; I have the same brake lever. These are not made for Valks but the wing lever fits. I'd check the brake switch, looking for loose screws or a weak operation. Look for worn bushing.

I ran those for a long time.

But they are delicate and I snapped 2-3 off backing out.

I discovered the Kuryakyn wide chrome non adjustable (for Valk) have the same reach as the adjustable set at 2-3 anyway.  And they are better made, less delicate (though still more delicate than the OE forged aluminum skinny ones).  I have small hands and reach is perfect.

I'm betting bushings are your trouble.  It's easy enough to pull them off, scrub everything up, and put them back with a bit of lube.

Pretty sure you get new bushings with the levers too.

I remember seeing somewhere that the levers from the GW get cut to work on the Valk.

Does adjusting them do anything, I expect not?

You need to verify if it's the lever or the pivot.

Here is a link to an old Delphi VRF forum post on the adjustable lever install.  The bike in the pics is mine (before I bought it).  Take note of the addendum at the end of this link; I had the same problem with the adjustable front brake lever dragging on let-off, leaving the brake light on for several long seconds after I released the lever.  You had to back the mount screw off to loose to make it stop doing it.

From Keff K's list of generic parts, in our Shoptalk: (I didn't think the clutch and brake lever bushings were different)

Clutch lever bushing

The Honda part Number 2285-MBO-006 is $10

The Suzuki part number 59892-08A00 is $3 and exactly the same part.

I have an adjustable on my VFR and eventually will grab a set of adjustable for the Valk.
On the front brake its nice in that you can adjust where the position of the lever is at the spot it gives you a firm pull on the lever. I prefer a bit closer to the grip (as opposed to farther out)
After having the adjustable brake for a bunch of years, I couldn't go back...

--- On the clutch is still a standard, not sure that it matters much.. probly would grab one if it was cheap, but not a priority...

------
Generally responding to the OP about waggly levers..... yeah over time the pivot bushing wears out....time for new bushing or levers...

Found these levers, but based on reviews, not sure these are a good thing or not...

On the adjustable levers, I would never have used the closest reach #1 setting on either lever; on the clutch you couldn't be sure you were fully disengaged when shifting, and on the brake you couldn't get full  front lock up (which you have to do with care, but if you need it (in a straight line) you want it.

IMHO, the Kury wide (non-adjustable) levers are better than the adjustables in every way.
