It was a good day for a ride. I passed a temp display that showed 95 degrees. I think it was just a bit off as a few hundred yards further a display showed 91 degrees. It's a little warm at the stop but when rolling it feels just right. My perfect riding riding temperatures are between eighty and ninety-five. Got to ride flyway up to seventy-five mph and city streets as low as 20 PRV. Browsed through a military surplus store. That place is fun. It was one of those days I'm pleased to not be riding behind one of those plastic shields.

Also got in a little ride here in DePere, WI...burb of Green Bay. Was a short run but worth it. Hit Walmart, then Menards, grocery store, then back to Toni's. Temps are warmer than usual but after not being able to ride for so long it just felt good. Gassed up the bike with some non-liquored type fuel and took the long way to the stores. Had a HD driver a few yards ahead of me and when he pulled into the parking lot at Walmart, there was a spot right next to him so took it. He looked, no expression, just walked away which was fine with me. After my little excursion I decided to adjust the new LED light bought from Darksider. By then it was time for something cool to drink and my son-in-law's recliner. My lap must be inviting, both the cat and the dog decided to take up residence at the same time. Hoping to ride over to their camper which is about 95 miles one way, mostly country roads....should be a fun ride. They call it a camper, 40' long with slide-outs. That's an apartment on wheels in my view.

yah, low 90's is tolerable to me as long as moving mostly on country roads doing 60-65 mph or so. In town though stopped in traffic at 90 or above wipes me out do not like the heat as some people do in warmer states, plus stop and go and waiting in traffic stopped I have absolutely no patience for would not make it in the bigger cities NO way. I would rather though , me being warmer blooded than most, be on a cycle in 45 degree temps over 90 degrees. My wife though hates anything below 60 degrees says it is too cold vs. me riding cycle with shorts and t-shirt anything above 60 degrees out. to each their own I guess....

Yeah riding in shorts in any weather is a very bad Idea.

have done it since age 18 no issues, is more comfy for me. if I ever wipe out have not ever so far, it will be an eye opener though am sure.... Harley riders around me dress in their usual leathers with no helmet does not make any more right or wrong, let them ride as they see fit...

That old saying about there being two kinds of riders is right on. Eventually, something is going to happen and hopefully you'll be able to regret riding unprotected. I am very thankful for the helmet and Kevlar lined jeans I had on. I had (unfortunately) taken my upper body gear off due to heat when I hit the asphalt. I sincerely wish I had kept it on. Someday, you may get to see the resulting road rash that has scared my upper body. But, to each their own. Rams

Still, no idea if I ever were to eat pave bigly whether I'd want to rinse and repeat. As mentioned, that would be a very personal decision and a mighty tough one.

Been off twice. First time ended up on the hood of a car when a young lady driving her daddies car pull in front of me and stopped. No road rash. the second, did rolls down the road (dove off the bike before the young lady hit it sideways). No road rash. had helmet, gloves, jeans on. no scratches on helmet. I have change to Kevlar jeans, padded jacket, boots, gloves, FF helmet. So far haven't needed them. Wear them all the time (but try not to ride in temps above 95 or so).

Ok so I rode to a appointment at the hospital this morning. Going down was beautiful, mid 80’s no wind no chance of rain.
Coming back was a little different. Still a nice ride but it’s in the low 90’s now (heat index 100) 60% humidity. I would say it’s the limit of what I would call enjoyable.
I am done riding until 1800 hrs I may take the bike to church. It will be back to low to mid 80’s by then
