I believe it's 7mm but 5/16ths works.  The only stock fuel lines on my Valk are the ones running from the T to the carb banks.

My notes say it's 8mm or 3/8.  Pingle uses 5/16.

Now I wonder which is correct ?

8mm is between 5/16ths (20/64ths) and 21/64ths whereas 10mm is 13/32nds, 1/32 bigger than 3/8ths.

Thanks everybody.  I found another hint in the form of the Purolator F10024 inline fuel filter that I've read is one commonly used.  Its inlet/outlet is .31 inches.  5/16ths = .3125

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I believe the original fuel line is 8mm.. So when installing an in-line filter I just force fit a 3/8" unit..

I've found a 5/16ths is a tight fit also.  The stock fuel lines have thinner walls than the ones you get at the parts store.

And here's another reason we prefer to do our own work...  I called the service dept at the dealership where I trade and they told me 1/4".
