I was wondering what size clamp you need to fit the curved part of the Interstates crash bars ? I have pegs on the lower part under the engine, but I keep burning the inside of my calves Thanks Big Rick

1 and 1/8 inch.
Watch out, many kits come with HD 1 1/4" clamps included.

What Jess said.
I have my Hwy pegs mounted on the curve without problems.

Yeah, with short legs, I have often burned my calves on the rear valve cover corners. And with heavy jeans, the burn sort of creeps up on you.
You either have to slide your feet wider, more to the outside of the Hwy pegs, or adjust the pegs so your knees are a bit more bent. This means angling the pegs more to the rear. They look crooked mounted that way when folded up or deployed. They look right mounted a straight 90 degrees out, but they don't work right that way. Our legs go this way V, not this way H.
If they are on offsets, roll the offset back a tad for a bit more bent knee to avoid the burn.
Now, it's when I put my boot heels over the pegs and lock my knees out, I get the burn.

For us with a bit longer legs, one can do as Jess does and rest your heels on the pegs without touching any of the hot spots. Only problem with having my pegs on the curve is during the colder months feet get colder quicker.

My I/S came with the hwy pegs mounted to the curve of the ahem crash bar. Took some adjustment to find MY sweet spot but it are doable. I'm 6' 2" tall and now able to git comfortable with the pegs on long or short rides. I believe they are Kurys. Had they Not been on My I/S when I bought it i Would have purchased these without question. RIDE SAFE.
