I am going to have to replace the front fender on my 2000 Tourer  and needed to know if all the front fenders are the same. From what I can see from the parts page from my local Honda dealer they are but as always I thought it best to check here. Thanks Dannie

The basic fender is the same, the Interstate had a fender set on the front and had different fork covers than the Standard and Tourer.

The interstate has a big glop of chrome on the front of the fender and the others don't; either will work.

If you see a chrome skirt on the back of the front fender, that's been (commonly) added.

Here's a few:  (when I needed a part from Pinwall Cycle, I didn't bid or play Evil Bay games, I just called them and made a deal, and they shipped it right out)

A new one from ProCaliber is  721.86 but (not available).  https://www.procaliber.com/oem-parts?aribrand=HOM&arian=MOTORCYCLE#/Honda_Powersports/GL1500CA_(99)_VALKYRIE%2c_USA%2c_VIN%23_1HFSC340-XA200001/FRONT_FENDER/GL1500C-99-A/14MZ0VE1AMZ04F0800AH/y

I don't know if one is listed on our classified section.  People put wanted to buy adds on there.

Another one from the "Shoulda Bought" Files:

In 2001 I went to Vintage Motorcycle Days with a fellow VRCCer who has long since gone silent. As we were walking the swap meet area, I found a front fender from a '97 (red and white) with not a scratch or blemish on it.

$40.

If I only had a time machine...

Thanks everyone. I got excited when I saw one for $42.00 on that link until I looked close at it, I thank it is worse than the one I have. They sure don't give them away do they. By the time I get this bike back on the road I will have more in parts than I gave for the bike. That is ok it will still be good to get it on the road instead of parting it out.

learned something new today. I didn't know the glop was OEM, cause I saw aftermarket units.

and now for the rest of the story.
