George and I will run the Duffy Lake loop next Sat. All are welcome

We'll meet up at the Tim's @ 200 St & 86 Ave Langley. We'll be there early and have a snack. Kick stands up at 7 am, and Hwy 1 to Hope Chevron for the 1st fuel stop. Then up the Fraser Canyon.

Driving will be at posted speed limits, not in any kind of a hurry.

Lilliooet being the mid point, it will be our lunch stop, at this time, the Reynold's Hotel Cookhouse Restaurant. https://www.reynoldshotel.com/

Driving time puts it at approx 4 hours each leg. I expect between gas/food/sites, it'll be between 10-12 hour day.

Hey Gord,
I would have loved to ride the Duffy Lake loop with you guys on the 24th. Unfortunately, I just made reservations for myself and all my kids and grandkids for camping that weekend. Just a little to short notice. Maybe next time.
I'm still in Hawaii, returning next week. I've had a great summer.....been home one day since July 1st just to cut the grass. It's been a really good two months. Looking forward to getting home and seeing the rest of my family again. Hope you've had a good summer too.
cheers,
paul

I get back from a work trip Friday, so I may hook up with you guys on Saturday. No interest in getting anywhere near Vancouver, so I'd just meet up on the way to Lillooet then return home after lunch back down the  Canyon again. Will let you know

Well we haven't had too much rain, so I hope it wasn't too long. I know you had nothing to cut at your last house, so must be a change.

Why break up your summer travels, hire a local kid. Enjoy that family of yours while you can still travel and see them all.

No interest in getting anywhere near Vancouver, so I'd just meet up on the way to Lillooet then return home after lunch back down the  Canyon again.

I thought you and Paul might meet up, so I mentioned the gas stop in Hope. Map shows 1:10 to get there.

I was wondering if you would continue back by Whistler and then have to deal with the traffic, and the longer distance too. George too, but he said he'd go the whole way, it's been 30+ yrs and a gravel road, since he was there last, and I need a shadow to come along.

Be real careful on that Sea to Sky highway from Whistler to Van. I lost a good friend on there a few months ago and don't want to lose any more......to many bad accidents on that stretch of road.

I'm pretty sure I'll be in...I can meet you all up at the Chevron in Hope. Figure around 8:00 Gord? The restaurant at the hotel in Lillooet has moved by now I believe...to the building that used to house the Greek place down the road. Looks to be a decent day Saturday.

Maps show 1:10 to get to Hope, so I figure gas and kick stands up by 8:20, not earlier. Not in a hurry, but expect I'll be there just after 8 am.

So that should get you plenty of time.

Christian, glad you can make it.

Will see you at Tim's then.

rider in, 8 pm.

I wonder if Christian missed the accident on the Cut to the 2nd Narrows bridge? George and I took over 1/2 hr to get past the accident just before Keith Rd exit.

Had a nice lunch, but had to quickly swap out the alternator, as the new one failed.  Undecided

A great day, Thank you guys for attending. Will post what few pictures I got later.

I must have just passed it within the first 10 minutes after it happened. Could hear the fire truck coming close when I rode by. 4 car accident, people just don’t pay attention. Will go through all my videos and pics and post some tomorrow. Thanks for the great ride and thanks for breakfast/lunch, Mike!!!
