I just helped my son out by putting his bike into winter storage with my 98 touring.  He has a very nice , clean  95 Kawasaki vulcan classic with tons of accessories and the usual mucle crusier mods. He got his before I bought my valk. and when I was looking to get back into bikes after a 5 year layoff, they was on the top of my "to do" list. I rode on several  including a 2000 model. I just couldn't get comfortable on them , even with all their refinement they still vibrate terribly. Then I rode a valk and that was  the end of my search ! Tonight was just a confirmation of  my choise. As nice as his bike is , (and it is VERY nice) my valk is in another class all together, ride quality, power, smoothness.. and did I mention POWER. For two 1500 cc engines to be that different  brings to mind the comparrison of a 5.0 mustang engine and a 5.0 Lambo. completely different power delivery systems cooldude. One feels capable, but course and edgy, the other almost electric like. I know bikes are a personel choice, but going cross country or just cross town with the motorcycle  version of a sex toy just isn't my cup of tea! cooldude
