I completed the 3 Flags Classic and checked into the final checkpoint in Vernon, BC yesterday. I started out last Thursday riding to the starting point in San Luis Rio Colorado and officially began the ride at 3am on Friday heading to the first checkpoint at Cedar City, UT. Next came Mountain Home, ID, Wallace, ID and finally Vernon, BC.

So far, I've logged 2,100 miles and a windy road home to go. If anyone is interested, next year's ride runs from Mexicali to Vancouver will be a 5 day event.

Thanks Ron. Traffic was surprisingly light considering that it's Labor Day weekend in Canada too. Our route included 2 ferry crossings, but the Kamloops ferry was on strike and the Fauquier ferry had a 1 hour wait time.

Dave, the BMW is running great. It's a much better bike than I am a rider, so I'll not use it to its' full potential.

Starting for home tomorrow,  with a ride to Kamloops, Lillooet, Whistler, Vancouver and Abbotsford. On Thursday I'll cross the border and head south.

I did it years ago and enjoyed it.  May have to do it again next year.
