Live every day as if it were your last

Hey all! The Idaho bunch is so looking forward to meeting up with the Northwest group again and the time is drawing near! In fact, it’s just around the corner.
Weather forecast for Joseph, OR is typical for September. Expect sunshine the entire time the sun is shining, and rain when it’s raining! A bit like British Columbia.
All that to say, don’t forget to bring your rain gear.
Temperatures this time of year typically range from low 40’s at night, to mid 70’s during the day, although on rides to hell’s canyon and Imnaha, we’ve seen them rise to mid 80’s.

I’ve put together a list of possible activities for this year.

Activities:
Wednesday evening: Arrive Joseph, get settled in, have dinner at Embers Brewhouse, 204 Main St, Joseph, OR 97846

Thursday Morning: Ride to Wallowa lake Tram, have breakfast at Summit Grill.
Tram tickets are $35

Thursday afternoon: Railride to/from Joseph-Enterprise. 2 hrs (depends on availability)

Friday: Rattlesnake Highway, Clarkston, Lewiston, Effie’s
Spiral highway and scenic overlook
Return via Rattlesnake, pie at Boggin’s Oasis

Saturday: Ride to Hell’s canyon, lunch in Halfway, OR.
Dinner plans on the fly.
Group meet at (open for suggestions)

Sunday: Breakfast at Red Rooster Cafe,
309 W Main St, Enterprise, OR 97828

We are very much looking forward to seeing our friends again!
Ride Safe!

Just to clarify, for those staying with us at the cabin on the lake, we will not be arriving until late Thursday afternoon. We should rendezvous in town somewhere.

Saturday evening you are all welcome to come on over to our place, for food and drinks, if you bring the food and drinks! I wonder who will have the best story this year?

Since Sam & I  have to cage it over, I  am going to make a big pan of lasagna.  Sam's new knee is doing good. He just isn't any where close to riding quite yet.

We will be rendezvousing at Embers Brewhouse, 204 Main Street, Joseph 97846 around 5:00 on Thursday. Probably have dinner there and then on to the cabin for the evening.
