Okay, my next fill-ups until winter storage will only be with Premium Non Ethanol fuel.
Here in Canada(fortunate for us) pretty much all premium fuel is non ethanol.

Here in Houston area we are very lucky to have mild winters compared to you guys.   SMid winter some days are too cold to ride comfortably but in a few days it lets up enough to get a ride in.   My bike gets ridden pretty regularly so I don't worry about gumming up too much but I do put about 1/2 can Seafoam in every full fill up

I like the new stabil products which emit fumes to the exposed areas of the tank and carbs mpt submerged in fuel to protect those areas from corrosion.

Winter "down time" is a ways off yet but I don't want any remnants of corn syrup in the system when that time is here.

I use non-ethanol gas as much as possible - all year long locally. Nearest station is less than 2 miles from home.

the closest non-ethanol fuel near me is racing fuel but its like 116 octane and is almost $6 a gallon... so I fill up with regular and put a whole can of Seafoam in it for the winter, and about a quarter of a can every third fill up through out the riding season.

It's nearing that time again for us also. It was only 102* on the ride home from work today. Pretty soon I'll be able to ride without losing 10 lbs. of sweat.  Smiley

Have you ever stood around the exhaust of a large air conditioning unit?  Kind of like riding into a blow dryer.  That's what it feels like to ride in Phoenix in the summer.  I've found that above 108°, you're cooler if you're not moving.

hey now,  even in colder climates, do not most still ride into mid to late November?  We still have 2 more months of good fall riding left right!   cooldude

I agree though,  last few tanks I put in 91 octane NON ethanol gas with stabil and seafoam both since bike sits from December thru most of March not being run.

It has been a pretty non rainy days most of summer around me mostly raining at nights for some reason which is good for daily riding of cycles.   I think I put on over 5000 miles on 2 wheels for 3 bikes this summer, not too bad, for 8 months tops of riding season..  Too bad probably about near 4000 miles of that was back and forth to work Monday thru Friday though..... Sad
