Just saw that this coming weekend is the slated "Storm Area 51" event based in Rachel, Nevada. While it has morphed into a pseudo-rave desert music festival, some nutcases are insisting the "storm" is still coming. "We've gotta let them know who pays the bills" said an early attendee.  Rotsa ruck with that! |

Anyone that has Served KNOWS that if the Military has a Secure area they Don't want ya in you ain't a gonna git in That area. Every base I was on and my ship-USS Yorktown CVS-10-had areas I was NOT cleared for. And you Just KNOW the Security Will Be BEEFED up til the craziness settles down some. RIDE SAFE. For how long, before they just give up.Once about 100 of us met at the southern end of the Natchez Trace. We were all going about 55 or 60 down the parkway when a policeman began tailing us. I didn't know he was a policeman, I just knew he was "right on my bumper" and I slowed way down, he passed me. That was when I saw "Law Enforcement" written on the tailgate of his big white SUV. Now there's about 100 Valkyries, a policeman, and me... going about 55 or 60 down the Natchez Trace. He turned on his lights a few times... Wimp, the rider in front of him, never noticed or slowed down. Needless to say, none of the other riders were paying him any attention. After a while, he turned off...  -Mike

I had a Nat park policemen try to sneak up on me on the Skyline Drive. I was only a little over the limit, and saw him coming and slowed right down. He passed me going down a long hill and pulled over a bicycle coasting about 60mph down the hill (in a 35). He tailed the guy for quite some time trying to be noticed, but the guy was having so much fun after pumping his ass off getting up those mountains, he never saw him. So he got the siren blip and lights. As I coasted by, I gave the bicyclist the naughty sign. LMAO.  |

I would, thats why I would never think of trying it. If someone is ignorant enough to try take em out is what I am saying. That WILL control others thinking of doing such an idiotic thing.
