I got an invite (I'm just on their mailing list) to a Red Cross blood drive on Clemson campus
today. I like to go to blood drives on campus, I wear my favorite Confederate shirt, one day
perhaps a mob will beat me up, no problem today. All of us invitees showed up at the
appointed place, and no blood drive either   ??? ...

There was a bunch of stuff going on on campus today. A Disney movie is being shot. And there
was one of those climate change "strikes" going on, probably was one near wherever you are
today too, just look in the headlines. As I walked by the library a young blonde co-ed stopped
me and asked if I'd sign the petition for a "carbon neutral" Clemson they had going on. I
asked how they were going to do it, and she sent me over to an older lady. I asked her if
she was talking about wind power and solar, and she said that was it. We discussed
all the windmills I saw in Oklahoma this summer and how there were 2500 tons of concrete
in each one's foundation and 750 tons of steel in each one's structure and 45 tons of
unrecyclable plastic in each one. She asked me about global warming and I told her
I thought there were two kinds: political global warming and scientific global warming.
She asked me what I thought about using oil (I forgot to ask her if she came to campus in  a car  Smiley
and I told her I thought it fueled our industrial society and made us rich. She told me she
didn't think I wanted to learn anything new and walked away.

Later I went over to NAPA and got four new car horns, my quad horns are finally getting
kind of anemic... I installed them before the 2nd Johnson City InZane.

And finally, I noticed that one of my Motolights was out, so I went over to Lowes and
got some LED replacements  cooldude ... the bulbs are just track-lighting bulbs...

The LED Motolights are in, they seem good. I hope the horns just bolt on and are
good-to-go, we'll see...

Sounds like you have fun on campus.  Though you fail to mention to the "lady" about solar panels.   They require rare earth minerals mined by children in the Congo.  That would have caused her to faint.  2funny
