Anyone had a Shinko on the front? Price and possible mileage are tempting. Any feedback? Thanks!

I have this exact.tire on the front of all three of my Valks. They have tens of thougsands of miles on them now. I have zero complaints with them. I will replace them with the same tire when they finally wear out.

I've had 2 of em so far and ZERO complaints. I've got a white wall up front now-Shinko-but can't recollect the model # at this time. And it is a bit smaller than what's called for but again ZERO complaints. RIDE SAFE.

I'm also quite happy with mine. Huge improvement over the d404 I ran previous. Very sure footed wet or dry and warms up fast. Only have like 5k on it so far but wearing great so far.

It is stock size, but I noticed the speedo seems to be a bit further off than before. Probably slightly smaller circ.

shinko on front and rear.  however, instead of the SE890 Journey in front,  I went even cheaper and got the shinko 230 tourmaster which IMO is just as good of a front tire and cheaper as well.  I prefer it over the Avon Cobra front tire it replaced and 50 bucks cheaper as well.

Until shinko proves me wrong,  I will continue to buy them since they last just as long as an Avon in my experience and probably as long as most others which for me is 5-6 years use since low mileage rider.

I prefer the 230 tourmaster over the 890 journey as well.

I have had 3 of the front tires. The first rear one that I purchased was defective. I have only been using Bridgestone Exedra Max  on the rear since then. Very happy with the combination.

I went with the 230. It’s not on yet but I dig the flat profile and tread depth.
