My parts are starting to look like a motorcycle again. I still have to install a new air filter,
check the petcock, change the alternator and some other stuff, so I'm not done yet...

When we were in New Mexico, Punisher got a handful of these things from SCain, and he
gave me one...

There's a youtube install video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVOpn33-r-8

It seemed like it didn't do anything at all (the shifter was still floppy) until I tightened
the set screw, then the floppiness disappeared. I wish I knew why there are two
threaded set screw holes, and only one set screw? The phillips screw is smaller than
the threaded hole and is just stuck in there with a little clear RTV...

My understanding it only had two on the first run due to the wrong placement.  Therefore it is simply a conversation piece.

I guess that makes sense... at the Hillman places, there were some set screws, I
think I'll look for one that fits, it is just a hole now...

Hi Mike,

The video you linked to shows the Jersey bracket, but what's in your picture looks like something else.

A 1/4-20 Set Screw will work just fine.

I have this bracket n two bikes and it definitely works as advertised. Takes about 5 minutes to install and all the slop is gone.

Any chance you are going to bring some with you to Prescott ? (I’d take a couple)

Rob,
I've had to change my plans, can't go to the BBQ (This thing called work keeps getting in the way of my riding plans), but my partner in crime (F6BANGER) is still going.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know I am kind of skirting the no advertising thing. But if hypothetically he were to have a couple, I would relieve him of those.

(Work sucks !)

Skirting is an interesting assessment but you are certainly not alone on this subject.

We encourage product reviews and opinions.

It will be a few more days before I'll be riding my bike, but so far my opinion is that
this thing seems to take some slop out. I have forward controls, it fits on with them.
I've never had a complaint about shifting, and at 98,500 I've only replaced the
shifter seal once... I didn't plan on buying one of these from any vendor, but this
one was given to me.

undermine our paying sponsors.

We're lucky to have them, I wouldn't want to undermine them...

I have one of his on my 97 Valkyrie Trike and it does very well. I use to have a little trouble finding neutral and with this no problem and bike seems to shift so much better.
