I feel so fortunate to have “lucked” into this great bike, great forum and great group of friends. I recently had the good fortune to spend several days with some of the wonderful folks from the Northwest VRCC. Even though the rally included a serious crash, it really only served to prove how incredible the brotherhood of Valkyrie riders is. Everyone involved just looked at it as an opportunity to show how incredible people can be when a need arises. This photo was taken at the top of “The spiral highway” in Lewiston, ID. Some of these folks came from Canada, Washington, Idaho, etc. True “brothers of the highway”. To quote a phrase: “Better people you will not find”.

I couldn't express my thoughts on this any better than you've done here Greg. 18 years with this bike has allowed me to meet and make many great friends...especially this bunch here.  cooldude

Bought a 2003 Valkyrie about three months ago and during this time in all the riding I've done I have yet to see another bike like mine.
I noticed that there isn't even a Northern California chapter on these boards, which to me is hard to believe. It is actually the first time in my riding "career" on many different forums, from Harley to BMW, that N Cali is not represented.
Just a thought...

I had to meet people on here first, and it wasn't long before I was riding with
lots of Valkyries and making great friends... sometimes it is a long ride to
get to where the ride starts, especially if you don't know people yet...

I live in crowded No VA, and I only see another random Valk around here maybe once every 5 years or so.

There was one guy in our local county SCRC who had one.  But he never washed or maintained it, so he traded it for a new F6B a few years ago (and he never washes it either).   Grin

On the other hand, if you go out to any main road anywhere and throw a rock, you'll probably hit a Harley (or a Lexus).     Cool

We have members up your way. They don’t come on here so much anymore. Put your location in your info. Maybe some near will message you.  cooldude

A suggestion: Get with the VRCC admin (Willow, Connie, Lori, etc) and ask them to start a California or North California VRCC thread with the others. You could perhaps be the president. Organize rides etc. It took a few years for the Northwest group to get started but we did it and it blossomed into a pretty beautiful thing. Again, just my thoughts.
