No one is scared of Biden, anywhere, anyhow and there is not reason to be.

Except maybe little girls.

Impeachment is their only option. Problem is, thats not an option, just a complete waste of our money and  everyones time. Impeachment just ain't gonna fly.

Section 4, Article Two of the US Constitution: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The misdemeanor language is a little weak, compared to the other three things.  And I'm not sure what misdemeanors were in 1788.

But it doesn't say a president can be impeached for calling the other political party a bunch of idiots, or for excessive tweeting, or having big hair.

The democratic party (and their fully owned subsidiary MSM) is a one trick pony.  They demonize everyone who disagrees with them.  It's not a very good trick, and it's really getting tiresome, and boring.

Looking at this another way (entirely), I started searching for the total cost of Congress per year: salaries, healthcare, benefits, franking privileges, staff, travel, office space, expense accounts yada.

First thing you find is no official answer anywhere, and the CBO (congressional budget office) intentionally obfuscates it as much as possible.

One estimate is $131 million per year.

Another lays it out like this:

Here are the VERY basic costs - for each of the 535 members of Congress as well as the total amounts and total total...

Base Salary for each member $174,000

Office and Staff allowance, per member (avg) $1,353, 205

Expenses, per member $256,574

Total base salary $93,090,000

Total offices and staff (Basic) $573,900,000

Total expenses, basic $137,267,090

Total combined for ALL Congress $804,247,090

Whatever it is, the American people (and our Nation) are being bilked now that all congress does is have a nonviolent civil war all day every day, instead of doing their best to provide good government for the American taxpayers.

If they don't cut it out, they should all be transported to Redskins Stadium (Fed Ex Field) by the US Army, and given a leather jock strap, sandals and a Roman gladius sword, and told to fight to the death.  With 82,000 seats, this would be the best (and most entertaining) thing that the US public could get for their money.  Seats would be free to all taxpaying US Citizens on a first come first serve basis.  We could even let that last 10 survivors go free (with their jock strap and sandals, but not the sword).

Or they could go back to working for the US people and not their political agendas.

This in itself is a much wider, larger, and outrageous scandal than anything that's been discussed in the last several years.

Yeah, lets pay 535 humps the better part of a billion dollars a year to fight and act like children.

You might think I'm kidding.

I bet that little chicken neck Adam Schiff wouldn't last 30 seconds even if he does have enough strength to pick up a sword! Almost like Pee Wee Herman went to Washington!

My theory:

The Democrat party establishment knows Biden is the only candidate not too bat-spit crazy to stand a chance of winning in the general election, but he's dirtier than a mob boss, but he won't stand down.

So, they have this silliness come up, to try to harm Trump, but more importantly to get Biden out of the primaries, so that Hillary can swoop in and be the relatively "moderate" option.....

Guess we'll see.....

I've been thinking the same think Serk.

A well planned two-fer.

I've read several different stories that say the Whistleblower report reads like it was drafted by a law professor (except for the multiple factual errors).

If impeachment was to go forward, Trump's best defense (or one of them) becomes the factual support for a criminal investigation into Biden and son's malfeasance, making his request for investigation by the Ukraine based on reasonable grounds (or probable cause) of actual crimes committed, not just some bad faith made up story to go after a political opponent.  Depending on how good that evidence is, it can't do Biden any good.

I wasn't thinking about HRC swooping in on her broom though (she's not running and in no state primaries).  Rather, it just becomes an anyone but Joe party, which is a pretty big gamble since he's the best shot they have.  Or they think they can push Pocahontas over the top??

Bottom line, I hate to tell the dems that their continued actions are guarantying Mr Trumps re-election. But, I tell them anyway, they don't believe it, so, I've now stopped, I just smile and nod.

Many Democrats have already said in public that impeachment is likely the only way to avoid his reelection and I submit that may still not be enough to keep him out of office. So the Democrats are running scared and the only wild card in the mix is the ofttimes fickle voting public.

Al Green who has being crying impeach since the election is the most recent and no you’re not going to see it on CNN because it doesn’t fit the narrative does it?

Seems to me that 'many democrats' have been calling for impeachment for several years.  Golly Gee, its all over the 'news' channels. ' Impeach Trump', 'Impeach 45'. So many have been saying that for so long, its getting tiring. Used to be laughable, now its just stupid and boring.

I see Pence as a very good man. But he's not a dynamic man. That is the crux of it. Pence doesn't have the charisma to get people out to the polls. He's an establishment politician. The fact that Trump isn't an establishment politician is why he got the votes that he did....

Not necessarily, I believe a lot of “swing” voters cast ballots for Candidate Trump because of who he was running against.

I’ll never satisfy your view of my statements. If you don’t think that many Democrats don’t share Al’s view, nothing I do will change that. I used CNN in my reply to you because you used a link to CNN as a fact check source which tells everyone where your head is.

Ever wonder why so many of the people running for the Democratic nomination jumped on the impeachment bandwagon? They don’t have anything going for them other than a hatred for a man and they hope they can bring a lot of people with them.

Fell free to ignore any or all of this post as it’s more for my benefit, letting others know where I’m coming from, than making an impression on you or your views. Hope you have a great day/weekend.

I stand behind my earlier theory, it's really looking like the Democrat establishment are trying to hurt Trump but more importantly take down Biden:

Actually, I think it would be more correct to say that the Democrats must really fear Trump.  In my lifetime, I've never seen a political party go to such lengths to try to remove a sitting president.

I don't "fear" Trump - I just don't like several of his behaviors (and I don't like him either).

1. He's never wrong / always being persecuted.
2. He can't keep his lies straight within the same speech
3. He's a bully
4. That damn unending stream of Tweets, much of which illustrates everything else.
5. He demands "Yes Men" for his advisors, instead of taking contrary viewpoints for balance and consideration. Now, when he has made up his mind on something, the contrary viewpoints should close ranks and do their jobs and carry out his policys without discussing differences of opinion with the public.
6. If my sixth grader showed the same lack of vocabulary, I'd be extremely concerned for their lack of development in language skills.
7. He acts like being President is like being a dictator / absolute monarch (goes with the bullying).
8. He is a braggert, often about things he had nothing to do with .
9. He treats the Presidency like a TV reality show (at least that's how it appears to me). ( I don't like most TV reality shows either - now THAT'S some "Fake news").
10. He "shoots from the hip" without considering what and how to say what he wants to put across.

I'm sure could come up with some more, but most of these I had seen during his campaign, and I had no desire to see a President with these qualities. And just to quiet "you're wrong" - I didn't get these opinions from the mainstream media during the campaign, but rather from his past history.

Things that are OK about him -
1. He is decisive about a course of action and doesn't dilly-dally about making a decision.
2. He can be unpredictable on his course of action ( this can be both good and bad, depending on the situation).

Thank you for this post. It’s the first one I can remember reading a post that expresses your and maybe other voters issues with Trump. I have been trying to wrap my mind around what this full time hatred (can’t think of a better term) that so many seem to direct toward Trump.

Doesn’t matter if I agree with your assessment or not, it’s just that most don’t get under my skin as apparently it does you. I’m willing to accept all your points as factual reality but as long as he keeps putting America first and running headlong into the socialist freight train he has my support and my vote.

I'm not saying I'm right and Trump lovers are wrong - it's my view/opinions of him.  Fortunately, his actions haven't gotten us into further conflict with other countries yet, although if things keep going, it's only a matter of time.

Basically - I want him to act more like a President and alot less like playground bully / gangleader.

Actually, I think it would be more correct to say that the Democrats must really fear Trump.  In my lifetime, I've never seen a political party go to such lengths to try to remove a sitting president.

-RP
You’ve never seen a President like this either. (And yes, I fear him)

So tell me Rob. Why do you fear him? What rights have you lost since his election? I'm going to venture to bet your 401k is doing better and you probably have more money in your check as a result of his tax policy.  Am I wrong?

The democrat candidates have nothing. Just like Clinton had nothing. Free Healthcare (medicare for all) free college tuition, free free free free. Oh and Impeach impeach,impeach.....My prediction is. Trump wins in a landslide and the Republicans win back the house and keep the Senate.

2. He can be unpredictable on his course of action ( this can be both good and bad, depending on the situation).

looks like a lot of personal hatred and emotional opinions and no hard facts.

our emotions will fool us all of the time.

I personally could give a crap less what other countries think of Trump. He is putting America FIRST. Tell me what good leader wouldn't?  He has put a stop to the endless money flowing to countries that are bearly our friends and making them pay their fair share.  What's wrong with that? We have been bent over by China and so many other countries for years with no other recent president doing anything to stop it. Trump is. AMERICA FIRST.......

If they somehow succeed in impeachment (it will never get passed the Senate) Pence becomes president and I'm sure he will continue Trump's work. But it's a moot point because they are never going to get an impeachment....

As long as there is no truth coming from the party of the jackass
(Democrats) there is no way I will support any candidate unless I run myself.

Until I retire that wont happen but I am considering a podcast called the angry democrat

This is just complete diversion and BS from the dems. It ain't gonna happen.
2 Presidents have been impeached, and, they weren't really impeached. They both remained in office.
The House voted to impeach Johnson and Clinton, the Senate voted for dismissal. So, a president has never really been impeached and probably never will. [ Nixon probably would have]. But, its the only thing the crazy democrats are capable of thinking of.  The rational dems realize this.
