i have a 2000 interstate 68k. i  notice a  drip  around  the  shifter  seal.  There;s  a lot  of  play  also. Is  there  a  bushing or  anyway  to  support  the  arm coming  out  to  minimize the  play? tks  bob

You will need the new shifter seal to stop the leaking. For the extra slop or play, Jersey has designed a shifter support.

Possibly reducing occurrence of oil leak is a likely side effect. The mod was designed for and delivers on more positive shifting. It makes my bike more fun to ride for sure.

As the others have given kind remarks, the Jersey Bracket will remove the sloppiness of the shifter.  Takes about 30 mins to install (if you take your time).  I can only describe it this way.  Before I had to HIT it into gear. Now. I PLACE it into gear.  Can actually feel the drum assembly sliding into gear.  I do encourage others to comment.
