If these prices were 8 years ago we would all own barns.

He started at 6k and I told him I would be interested in looking at 3k. He said yes, I loaded up trailer and took the 1 1/2 hrs drive. It looks like it sat outside at the beach for the past 5 years. All chrome and aluminum is very ruff. Everything is there but would need stripped down and painted from block up. My opinion. More work than I wanted. I offered him less and ended up coming home empty. He’s original owner.

Yeah, I hear ya.  The first Valkyrie I looked at several years ago was in Melbourne, just a couple of blocks from the beach.  It had a lot of rust and corrosion on it as well.  If I remember correctly, the price was reasonable for the year that it was, but not for the condition it was in.  At the time I only wanted something that maybe just needed some TLC, not a complete overhaul.   It was not what I was looking for either, so I passed on it.

It’s gone. If someone here bought to part out, I could use some of them. Thanks
