Thanks all!

For my birthday I made some changes.  On saturday the kids decided that we should jump out of an airplane.   So that I change to a skydiver now Smiley .

Also I decided to change my job.  Gave my notice on Friday.  That was more stressful than leaping out of the plane!.

I had no reason to leave iDevices as I really liked it there however, I had an offer that I could not refuse with much more $$$, signing bonus, extra vacation, any title I wanted except President or CTO, and leading all software, ability to work from anywhere, etc.

My old company came calling with an offer and I am now Chief Software Architect and have all software engineering under my wings with my reporting directly to the new President of the company.   Going to be developing products for the 5G industrial network backhaul arena which I am pretty stoked to do.

The other good part is that I will now have time to catch up with all of my old friends here!  Much more freedom coming in 2 weeks!  So look out for an uptick on my rambling Wink

We miss you up here and it sounds like you won't be coming up anytime soon  Grin  coolsmiley

WIll you be jumping out of a plane again?  Shocked

Congrats on the new job.  And I hope you do get to spend more time with family and us but GENERALLY when a company is willing to pay a lot of $$$ to someone, the company expects a LOT more in return.  But I hope I'm wrong.  Undecided

Absolutely will jump again.  It was way cool!  I did have to lie on the release form about no heart issues however Wink

Going in Thursday for another cardiac catheterization to figure out why I started having issues again.

I would love to jump out of a plane but Carol said she will kill me if the jump doesn't kill me.  Not great options for me.  Roll Eyes

Brett, Your heart is trying to tell you something (too much stress? no time to relax?) but it doesn't sound like you are listening.  We need you here to help all the rest of us, so please me careful and listen to your body (and not your over worked mind) smitten
