Reminds me of a cousin of mine, only girl in a family of five boys. When we were kids we had this little game called "burn out" where we would toss a baseball back/forth with as much steam as we could muster in an effort to get the other person to quit cuz your hand was hurting. I never won! JoAnn could hang in there with any guy and usually beat her brothers in the process.

yah we use to do that as well me and another kid my age usually won. I use to love playing softball 3rd base when I got hit hard to 3rd base. I use to get it, wait a few seconds until runner got going and then firing it as hard as I could to 1st base and get runner out by 1-2 steps is all. First baseman did not like it though sort of hurt his left hand catching it. I also remember playing pick up basketball game in high school recess a stray BB was heading to the sideline in the corner BEHIND the BB hoop and I ran as fast as I could and grabbed it at the last second and running full steam into the gym wall tossed it up from BEHIND our BB rim and arched it just right BB coming from behind the backboard and that the ball went SWOOSH into the hoop. Everyone was in AWE. I bet I could not do that again in my or anyone elses lifetime again, more luck than skill.

Fake unless you think the catcher wears a mitt on both hands.

At the start of the video, catchers mitt is on the left hand. After the catch, the mitt is on the catchers right hand.

May be a Gatorade ad but, if you allow the link to continue, you'll see a bunch of "Ball Girl" catches from the Major Leagues and this one is included. There were some amazing catches shown. At the start of the video, catchers mitt is on the left hand. After the catch, the mitt is on the catchers right hand.
Agreed but, he has taken his catcher's mitt off of his left hand and holding the mitt in his right. It does appear that he's wearing some sort of wrist support on his right side. Rams

Definitely 2 different mitts. Fake He’s not holding the mit, he’s wearing it on his right hand. So fake. Agreed but, he has taken his catcher's mitt off of his left hand and holding the mitt in his right. It does appear that he's wearing some sort of wrist support on his right side. Rams

I think the video is at least enhanced but the catcher's mitt is not the evidence.

Dave, It really doesn't matter to me on this but, go back to the video and stop it 27 seconds into the video and then skip forward one frame at a time to 29 seconds. It clearly shows the catcher's bare left hand and him holding the catcher's mitt in his right hand. All in good fun. Rams

Still no answer to what the catcher has to do with the ball girl? Kinda like Mueller at the hearings.

The clip, produced by Element 79, combined footage taken during and after a game between the two minor league teams with some digital trickery to produce the illusion of a spectacular catch made by a hustling ball girl. ShootOnline talked to director Baker Smith, who explained how the effect was created:
“The big shot, the one that follows the ball out [from the plate to left field], was completely choreographed for lack of a better word,” Smith said, explaining that a motion control shot followed what would have been the trajectory of the ball, and the artisans at New York’s Framestore CFC later inserted a ball in post. As for how the ball girl (played by stuntwoman Phoenix Brown) made the spectacular catch that is the highlight of the video, she got a little help from rigs and Framestore CFC.
Smith and his crew shot the big catch right after the game they were shooting concluded, attaching the ball girl to wires and having two stunt men off to the side literally yanking her up the wall.
