It has finally happened to me. Got off of the bike (98 Tourer) in the garage after a 150 mile ride. Went to walk around the front of the bike and stepped on something. Looked down and saw this!



Pretty sure that it did not came off the bike, but did it? That is a quarter next to it to show this size.
My first thought was that is is a mirror spring but it is too big and there is nothing wrong with my mirrors.
Any ideas??

Well, the mystery is solved. Trout Dude ID'd it as the spring as from the clutch slave. I did drop my old clutch slave the other day. Guess the spring sneaked away without me seeing it!
