Not sure what I have going on here. Some pics of what all I have along with the original Honda seats, not shown.

I don't think so. He's just new to the Valkyrie.

To be more accurate, I believe it is an Ultimate Big Boy seat. If you don't like it, I'm sure you could easily sell it in our classifieds.

No I was trying to figure what the seats were and I saw a picture of Corbin seats which look very much like mine. The bike is almost 20 years old maybe Corbin had a special line of seats call Ultimate or something like that.

I'm retired from sport bikes guy. Last year a bought a Shadow 1100 to see if I like cruisers. I did but the Shadow brakes badly and could use some more power. I like the bike but two up it's not great at all. Happen to see the Valkyrie for sale, click in my mine. I think I like that so now I own it.

In other words I don't really know what is out there for cruisers like seats etc. Names are all foreign to me.  Learning curve to it. Guys kept talking Harley's with me after I bought the Shadow that took 6 months to figure out what Harley was what Harley.

As for backrests, the wider versions are usually more comfy, especially if they have a slight curve in them. If you want to keep the Ultimate backrest which is rather flat, take it to a shop that does such things and have them change the padding so as to give a bit of a curve.  cooldude

The seat in the picture is on a Corbin base and was too hard so had an Ultimate Big Boy covered in much the same manner...much more comfortable.
