I'm interested in purchasing a handlebar phone mount  and ear plugs with Blue Tooth connection to a smart phone.  Do these ear plugs exist ?  Any recommendations ?  I have a 2000 std. Valk with 1" bars and would appreciate any suggestions / recommendations for the smart phone holder.
thanx,
bill

Yes. Bluetooth wireless earbuds. This fellow rides with them...

I guess it would be important to find ones you thought were comfortable with your
helmet.

Have you considered bluetooth headphones? I use a Sena 20S and find it very capable. The intercom works well on trips, and bluetooth for music from my phone is pretty much flawless. I'd like to find better speakers, but they're really not too bad.

From experience, the bluetooth earbuds will be very uncomfortable under your helmet.

After experimenting with this for many years I have found a combo that works for me, and can maybe work for you.

I bought a Sena Unit (https://www.sena.com/product-comparison-smh) which easily adapts to most helmets. This allows a multitude of functionality while on the bike. Music, GPS Instructions, Make/Receive phone calls, FM Radio, etc. If others in your group have a Sena unit you can also communicate helmet to helmet.

Because I care about my hearing I also use Earplugs designed to only block a certain amount of decibels, 25 I think.. (https://www.amazon.com/DownBeats-Reusable-Fidelity-Hearing-Protection/dp/B00A3Z44R2). These block a majority of the road noise while allowing you to still hear whatever is going on in the helmet. They are very comfy, and have only bothered me after long multi-day use.

Hope this helps. Good luck, and let us know what  you end up with.

The Sena headsets are great.  The SMH-5 is difficult to find, but at around $100 is an absolute bargain.  It offers most of the features of their other headsets in a more compact size.

I have done the same thing for a number of years now, but I just use good old cotton batting as ear plugs and then my Sena. The cotton batting is extremely comfortable and eliminates a lot of noise while still allowing you to hear music or have a conversation through the Sena speakers. I just switched from a half helmet with Sena ear-flaps/speakers to a full face modular....still use the cotton batting and it is still extremely comfortable .

I'm leery of bluetooth after getting a Lanzar Heritage crossover/mixer/bluetooth amp for Jade.  The bluetooth is unreliable and always fails while the bike is rolling.  Park it and it stays linked.  The connection distance is from under the seat to the handlebars.  The seat pan is plastic should be invisible to the connection.  Link fails with both the phone and Zumo and regardless of whether a cell connection is in the mix - eg phone fails when playing onboard mp3's and the Zumo has no cell connectivity. I no longer use the bluetooth function and direct-wired the phone.  I'd want plenty of good reviews for whatever bluetooth device I'd consider.  JS.

My wife just got these.  She put one in my ear and I thought it sounded quite good.

I've been using this one now since August:

https://www.amazon.com/Fodsports-Motorcycle-Communication-Interphone-Waterproof/dp/B07J5Y49NV

It's less expensive than the Sena and the online reviews were excellent and spot on. One reviewer stated the he'd had several Sena's and that these were just as good for 1/2 the price.

There is a bit of a learning curve to using them but they work well and they work up to a half mile apart.

Lesa and I also run a pair of Sena units and could not be more happy with the performance and reliability.
