Good luck. That sounds like a cool bike.
I tried to get the BMW dealer to let me ride a police special once, he wouldn't believe that I was an undercover cop from a small town that also was in charge of buying the vehicles....had to tell him something to explain the beard and long hair...was worth a shot.
I think I've always wanted one just because he wouldn't let me ride it.

I hope it didn't get hauled too far with the kick stand down. RJ's knowledge is that doing this can crack the frame where the kick stand attachs.

I haven't been on that model, but generally my tall friends are happy with BMWs and my short BMW riding friends are alway tip toing, so it should be good on the long inseam.

There is a kit available from most BMW dealers for Highway Pegs. They bolt on to the cylinder heads and fold inward went not needed. And as far as I can rember they were well under $200.00 and virtually undetectable when folded inward.

It would behove you to have any used BMW inspected by a certified tech. BMWs have had their share of electronic glitches. However there is an OBD plug that is used to find error codes, and BMW tracks almost all of there bikes throughout the bikes lifespan.

there is another one sold out of hollywood motors which has a 98+ rating  which I am leaning toward since the other ebay seller is not a feedback rated one.  The bike also police rt with the abs has 42k

I havent bought myself anything in so long I cant remember. Dont any of youse (that is NY for all y all) outbid me now especially you Joe, you have enough bikes !!
